The Story

Jamie started Quilljoy in 2018 after daydreaming about starting a stationery shop her whole life. In a world dominated by emails, notifications, and pings, she sought refuge in working with her hands.

Her degree is in Digital Illustration; however, Jamie has recently developed a passion for linocut printing. Inspired by her role model Gwen Frostic, she decided to pursue her passion and opened her own shop.

The natural and supernatural are her favorite subjects. Occasional visits from the Chaos Goblins always make things interesting. They have a nasty habit of “borrowing” tools and whispering to the cats when there is wet ink to be trodden upon.

Jamie lives and works in Oxford, MI. She resides in a castle in the woods with her favorite person, Jason, and a small herd of pets.
